Loving those "antenna ears" in that picture! Anyway, I don't think I have ever seen or heard of Katie Hoff swimming the metric mile but on Monday night at the North Baltimore Aquatic Club Long Course Championships she swam a sizzling 16:18.43. What does that work out to be; a 1:05.50 per 100? (I did the math in my head so beware.) She swam the 200, and the 400 as well. [Link]

Katie Hoff swims and wins the 1500
Loving those "antenna ears" in that picture! Well she did have all 13 Olympic Trial cuts as of last summer, so she must have swum it fast some time.
WOW!
Sometimes I question if she is really a land dwelling animal. Too many races, not enough medals. ;-)
I think she and Kate Ziegler will be the stars of of the women's team in Beijing next year. They are practically untouchable.
