'Tarzan and his Mate': 1934 Nude Swim Scene featuring Jane "skinny dipping"

Tarzan played by Olympian, Johnny Weissmuller, the first man to break a minute in the 100 LCM swims with a naked Jane. The underwater filming and choreography is fantastic.

This must have been in the 'Director's Cut' version because when I saw this film at a film festival the scene's length was cut considerably shorter. I definitely don't remember the underwater loops nor Jane telling Cheetah she was naked (a woman announcing she's naked tends to stick in my mind). Admittedly that was a long, long time ago.

No good shots of nipple or bush, but it still seems like that would be hard to get away with in a mainstream movie in the 1930s. Today it would be the manhandling of Jane that would cause an uproar.

I find your comments crass and I meant to reject them. Nudity was far more acceptable in the '20's and '30's than it is today. The paintings, the photography, even the back of a $5 silver note or a Liberty dollar illustrates that.
