It looks like the USC swimmer got DQ'ed for touching one-handed. Seems like a pretty weak move...losing that many points for your team because you were lazy?
I swim with a sanctioned 'USMS' swim club called: Southern California Aquatics (SCAQ). I compete in local swim meets and open water races throughout California. USC lazy finish. Typical.
It's smells in here, sort of like a UCLA or Stanford type of stench. ;-)
That is my nightmare. Everytime I swim the 200 fly I swear I'm going to get d.q.'ed.
that was bodrogi last year. i was there. he then later swam the 50 and missed his turn completely not even breaking 23.
Sucks for Victor to have the example made of himself, but it is proof on why you should never let yourself get lazy in practice.
