Michael Phelps "business plan!"

Income equals time in the water - crashed income equals the amount of workouts missed.

This doesn't make sense to me. Why does the regression line have its own variable?

I understand the trend without the addition of variable A: that staying out of trouble means more money for Phelps, and that less money is made when trouble increases.

If you wanted to graph the interaction of 3 separate variables, you would need a 3-dimensional chart. Or you could graph Free Time vs. Income, and Free Time vs. Trouble in two separate graphs.

I always say that my readers are smarter than i am, hence, I feel so stupid; so to get it right, I gotta redo this graph tomorrow.
