To their credit SwimSwam apologizes for copy/pasted Swimming World article - It will never happen again.

The best part is the quality control aspect of the apology: 

"...EDITOR’S NOTE: Today, SwimSwam became aware, through a post that appeared on blogger Tony Austin’s site scaq.blogspot.com, that an article which appeared our site, “Six 2012 Olympic Swimmers Nominated for Ten Espy Awards”, was copied, in large part, from an article that appeared on SwimmingWorldMagazine.com.  SwimSwam’s Contributor Agreement is clear on this point, and each contributor must agree that anything he or she publishes on SwimSwam.com is their original work; in this instance, it was not.
