'Pentatones' music video for the song 'Hidden' - One dancer, upside down and underwater!

The Germans do black and white film making better than any one. (They even did the first Vampire movie too.) The song is called "Hidden" and this minimalistic approach to film-making is quite pleasant to watch. Unfortunately, you can't buy the song on iTunes and I can't find it anywhere. I even tried the German iTunes store. Here is a link to their website though: [Link]

So beautiful! I do some aerial rigging as well as tons aerial dancing (Fuerzabruta and 2nd Species)...and I'm simply stunned on how they rigged this! She twists and turns so much, looks effortless...and no signs of a harness. I'm guessing though, you think they filmed it underwater and did tons of effects in post?

She is underwater the whole time. The way they did it is quite simple. They filmed the sequence underwater and in post production they turned the footage upside down.

When she appears to be "walking on the surface of the water", she is really underwater with her head facing towards the bottom of the pool and her feet just breaking through the surface.

I think a synchro-swimmer could really pull off this illusion better than the model they used. I would like to see it done again but with a black backdrop, lots of satin material and of course filmed in slow motion as this piece was.

I would love to post any footage your have from your performance. It got a lot of hits when I did before.
