Every Summer Olympics logo since 1896
I am biased towards the Los Angeles 1932 Olympics logo since it is so art deco and the font appears to have done by hand. I also live in Los Angeles.
The 1932 pool is still with us but quite modernized now. I am thinking of putting on a swim meet there next spring. I have to work out the details with SPMA and Clay Evans. Overall I like the Moscow logo a lot though the star should have been yellow to represent the Olympic flame.
As for the 2012 London Olympic logo; what were they thinking?

I agree with you. The logos to my inexpert eye seem to get better over the years ( Berlin 1936 takes my vote as the all time worst however - should we be wary of people who lack an artistic sense?) but London 2012 is a huge, and baffling, step backwards.
The LA 1932 is one of my favorite but in today's world of graphic design it would never fly. Now I'm the least patriotic person but I also like the LA logo 1984. After that the fluid motion animation figure movement has been used to death. Barcelona and Sydney used the style design. I also agree with Scott in regards to the London logo. Oy!
