Whales started out as "lane one," freestyle, swimmers using "fins" and "paddles" as a crutch but after millions of Masters Swimming workouts it was realized that a streamlined, butterfly, kick was a more efficient way to get from 'A' to 'B.'Their next evolutionary step will be speedsuits.
