Maly sends us Alain Bernard's World Record in the 100 Free!





Maly so hooks us up! Uploading stuff to You Tube is not very fun yet she has been so generous with her time in doing so that I can't thank her enough. :-)

i am posting the final of the 100 free , frederick bousquet won in a time of 27'15, alain bernard came second with a time of 47'51 but he swam with water in his google so he could see anything . in third came william meynard in a time of 47'77

yes. but not qualified on 50 fly because he didn't swim the final (22'84 in the morning)...

Hey Tony:

Really interesting....Bernard didn't use any dolphin kicks off the turn and basically comes right up and starts swimming.

His back 50 was really fast.

Alexander Popov, who's record stood 'till last year, is now 25th all-time. We're talking about the man agreed to be the greatest sprinter of the modern era...

These suits have made - and are making - a mockery of the sport. This is beyond ridiculous.
