From AP:"The suits are beautiful things and, whether you like it or not, they do make you swim faster. We were talking about maybe wearing them in practice, just to wear them just to go fast again. The rest of that article is really good, thanks for posting it!
I like Piersol... he can have an opinion, but still accept that both sides of an issue have their positives and negatives. He seems to see the big picture a lot better than most.
More of FINA being asses. From Dennis Pursley, head coach of British swimming:
"But Pursley admits world governing body FINA may veto a competitive European team taking on America in fear of the Duel surpassing its own competitions."
He was talking about the Duel being a slaughter and that there should a true Europe vs. US lineup, but politics may prevent it from happening.
