Giant "McDonald's Shamrock Shake" spills into Chicago River: This is not funny and it is not cute

Would you want to swim in an open water race there even if dye was vinegar based? I am not likin' it at all and I am sure neither are the fish.

From Polkadot - There is a movie of the event as well: [Link]

They do this every year. If enough people like you raise your voices, maybe they'll vote the Republicans out of office in Chicago and let the Democrats fix the environment.

It seems obviously offensive to me not in the particular green color they chose but rather the nearly empty shake with a straw hanging out as if it was thrown out of a car and landed near a gutter. The "gutter" in this case being the river itself.

good observations, Tony. Not keen on it myself either.

I just want to point out that there hasn't been a republican in charge of the city of Chicago since 1931. So the first comment was just idiotic.

Very brave to post an insulting comment and remain Anonymous.
Tony, very typical of McD's to make a pice of marketing that looks like litter and find it funny!
